Dear Franklin United Methodist Church members and friends,
“Defining Our Generation: Phase II” is the title chosen for our capital campaign. We are fortunate to be part of the Franklin United Methodist Church at this time, having the chance to do something that will have a lasting legacy and define our generation for generations of future Methodists in the Town of Franklin.
Our hope is that you will begin to pray about what God’s will is for you in light of this exciting campaign. If everyone in our church will start to pray about God’s will then something extraordinary will happen.
You will find a Vision Pamphlet detailing Phase II of the Defining Our Generation campaign here. Please read and study the material carefully. It should begin to answer many of your questions concerning this campaign. We have also setup a page on our website, franklinumc.org/phase-ii, where we will keep everyone up-to-date on what is going on with the campaign.
In a few weeks, you will begin to see invitations in the bulletin, on the church website, and on social media about Informational Gatherings. These gatherings will be a time to hear more about the campaign and answer your questions.
The days ahead are some of the most critical in the history of our church. Our faithfulness in this moment will define our generation. It is my hope that all of us will come together and respond in such a way that future generations of Methodists in Franklin will look back with awe on our faith and see God at work in each of us working together.
As always, if you have any questions about the campaign, do not hesitate to reach out. I am praying for you. Please pray for the church and yourself asking “God, what do you want to do through me?”
