Christians are called to reach out in love to their neighbors, to live a life of service to others. Jesus taught that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. John Wesley, one of the founders of Methodism, encouraged early Methodists to live into this teaching by “doing good of every possible sort, and, as far as possible, to all [people]” (The General Rules of the Methodist Church). This rule remains a core tenant of our tradition.

Meals on Wheels
The Franklin Meals on Wheels office is looking for onsite volunteers, weekday mornings at the church. Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals to in-need, homebound seniors in Franklin, Bellingham, Blackstone, and Medway. Prayer Team
Prayer Requests are gathered on the church website, during worship, and via the Church Office. Requests marked confidential are sent to the pastor. Non-confidential prayer requests are distributed by email to the Prayer Team. Members of the Prayer Team pray for the requests of our church family, friends, community, and world as requested. Team members hold each request in prayer for at least three days. All requests are treated as confidential and are not forwarded beyond the Prayer Team.
