Dear members and friends of Franklin United Methodist Church,
I am writing a quick note of invitation requesting your attendance on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 10am, for worship, brunch, and a congregational meeting where we will begin discussion about the future of our facility.
Over the last several months, the Resource Committee has been hard at work assessing our facility needs and dreaming about what ministry could look like in a well-maintained, renovated, and restored space. We stand at a pivotal moment in our congregation’s history. Our facility needs work. It will take all of us working together to accomplish it; and, we need your input as we try to think creatively about how to restore and renovate our building so that it can meet the needs of our community and create space for future generations to “experience meaningful relationship with God, grow in Christ, and reach out in love to others.”
I hope you will join us on Sunday, May 21, at 10 am, for worship, fellowship, and discussion about the future of our facility. We will gather in a hybrid setting. If you cannot make it in-person to the church, I hope you will consider joining us in-person via Google Meet. Joining information is below. Parts of the service will also be live streamed on YouTube and distributed via the church’s Facebook page and Instagram account.
