Spring is returning to Franklin, and with it comes one of our most joyful community traditions: the Community Easter Egg Hunt! Each year, families gather to celebrate the season with color, laughter, and the thrill of discovery.
This year’s hunt will take place on Sunday, April 5, 2026, and we’re excited to welcome children, families, neighbors, and friends for a morning filled with fun and connection.
The egg hunt begins at 11:15a. Please note: when you arrive, eggs will be visible on the property. Please do not hunt for eggs until shown where to look and then released to do so.
🐣 What Kids Can Look Forward To
Our egg hunt is designed especially for children ages 0–10, with plenty of space and eggs waiting to be found. Families can expect:
- Brightly colored eggs hidden across the church lawn for older children
- A dedicated area for our youngest egg hunters inside
- A safe, welcoming environment for all
- A chance to meet new friends and celebrate together
Don’t forget to bring your own basket — the eggs go fast once the hunt begins.
In the event of rain, we’ll move the egg hunt entirely indoors.
🌼 A Gift to the Community
Franklin UMC hosts this event as a celebration of and for the community. There’s no cost and no registration required. Just come as you are and enjoy a morning of joy and togetherness. Light refreshments will be served inside with an opportunity for you to take pictures in the sanctuary.
✝️ You’re Invited to Worship
If you’re looking for a place to celebrate Easter, we’d love to welcome you into worship before the egg hunt at 10a. We’ll end with plenty of time to transition ot the egg hunt. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning after time away, or simply seeking a moment of peace, you’ll find a warm community here.
