Church This Weekend

There is a busy weekend coming up (10/22 to 10/23)! Here’s what you need to know:

This weekend!

Fall Cleanup

We can use your help cleaning up the church facility, inside and out.  We’ll meet at 10am on Saturday, October 22. If you are planning to help with yardwork (planting bulbs, trimming bushes, pulling out the garden), please bring gloves, rakes, shears, etc. Inside we are planning to tackle the kitchen–cleaning out the shelves, drawers, etc. And, don’t forget the pizza lunch!

If you have questions, please contact Inger Anderson or the Church Office.

50+ Year Member Recognition

As part of our Sunday worship service, we will be recognizing those members who have served among us for fifty or more years. We are recognizing fifteen 50+ year members. There will be a reception following worship.

“Our Legacy” Series Ends & Pledge Cards Requested

Over the past four weeks, we have looked at the determination, ambition, purposefulness, and generosity that has brought Franklin Methodism to the present. This Sunday, October 23, we will wrap up the series by talking about our legacy. What will define us as the Franklin Methodists of today? What will our legacy be? You can find details about the service here.

As we conclude this series, we are also asking all members and friends to turn in their 2023 pledge cards. You can submit your 2023 pledges online here. Print cards are also available at the church. Your pledge help strengthen our legacy and empower ministry far beyond our walls. Thank you for faith and commitment!

Coming up! Mark your calendars!
