Baptism
This Sunday, October 17, there will be a baptism during worship at 10am. We hope you’ll consider joining us in worship this Sunday so that you can welcome this child into the family of God and surround him, and his parents, with a community of love and support.
Midweek Discussion w/ Pastor Jacob
Join Pastor Jacob on Wednesday at 7pm as we discuss upcoming readings and themes for Sunday worship. This group meets in-person in the vestry and virtually.

Trunk or Treat
Franklin United Methodist Church is organizing a Trunk or Treat for Saturday, October 30 from 4-6p. We need volunteers to decorate their trunks and handout candy. We also need volunteers to help setup, teardown, and grill “hallo-weiners.” If you would like to help, please contact Pastor Jacob ([email protected]).
Thanksgiving Basket Collection
The church will again participate in the Franklin Food Pantry’s Thanksgiving Food Baskets. The Interfaith Council is coordinating this effort. We are asked to donate 75-“12oz bags of Dunkin Donuts Medium Roast Ground Coffee.” The brand and bag size are important. All items should be to the church by Sunday, October 31. All extras will be donated to the Food Pantry. There are collection baskets set up in the front pews.
Charge Conference
The Charge Conference is scheduled for Sunday October 31st after the service. More details to come.
Book Club
The Book Club meets monthly on the second Monday of the month at 7pm. The Book Club will meet (virtually) on November 8 at 7pm. We will be reading We Begin At The End by Chris Whitaker .
